Registrations Essential by 3pm Thursday 19th October.

In this 3 hour hands-on workshop, Naomi will cover design, materials and application skills with a specific focus on Halloween looks.

Naomi will explain the anatomy of the face so you can maximise the design and will show you how to find the lights and shadows to help create the illusion of depth. She will also show you a few basic brush strokes which transfer to any face painting design.

On the day Naomi will teach the skills to be able to create a spooky rose, a skull and a sugar skull (a skull with floral embellishments). Naomi will also briefly touch on Face Bling and will show you how to make a simple bling design.

This workshop will involve demonstrations and plenty of opportunity to practice the skills. You will start with practice boards and then move onto faces or arms. Naomi will also talk about what products and materials she uses and why.

Participants will be provided with all of the materials needed to create the designs.

Naomi will also have mini kits available for purchase on the day if you want to keep practicing at home. The mini kit will include the paint pallet for the skull as well as a brush and sponge. Other paint colours will be available for purchase on the day and Naomi can also tell you where to purchase good quality products.

Naomi uses only the highest quality products which are all FDA approved, skin safe, cosmetic grade face paints. The brands she uses includes ‘Facepaints Australia’, ‘Mehron’, ‘DFX’ 'Fusion' and ‘Global’.
