About Us

The Arts Centre Cootamundra is a community built, organised and controlled arts facility.

The Arts Centre Cootamundra (TACC) exists to provide a venue and facilities for Arts activities in the Cootamundra and Gundagai Region. It supports local artists and performers in their artistic careers; contributes to the cultural development of the region and expands the depth and breadth of recreational activities available. TACC attracts visitors, new residents and investment to the area with top class Arts facilities and programming.

TACC SPACES - The Tin Shed Theatre, opened in 2011, is the flagship venue of TACC and hosts world class performances. TACC also features a large Exhibition Room, a Visual Arts Studio, a Rehearsal Space and a Meeting Room. These spaces are available for hire and we encourage you to contact our Office Coordinator for more details.

TACC ACTIVITIES - Our unique spaces allow us to host a range of activities including exhibitions, live music performances, plays, cabaret, conferences and workshops. We also coordinate regular art and craft workshops, and support special interest groups through our Friendship Group program (current groups range from pottery to poetry and drama). At the end of 2019 we also began screening recent release movies.

GET INVOLVED - TACC is a volunteer driven arts facility. This means a committee of local volunteers sets the direction of the annual TACC program of activities. Whether your interest is in art, craft, events, workshops or performance, everyone is welcome and encouraged to get involved.
