ABOUT THE EXHIBITION: Ivy Hill Gallery was a fixture on the Far South Coast of NSW for nearly 20 years. Situated on the Killen family property, between Bermagui and Tathra on the coast road, Ivy Hill was an outlet for the diverse artwork of the creative career artists of the area. Mentioned by The New York Times as a ‘place worth visiting’, Ivy Hill Gallery was much loved by artists and visitors alike. It was with sadness Carolyn Killen closed the Gallery in 2020 for family reasons.
A beautiful new gallery was built on the property which operated for three months in 2022 then closed due to difficulty with Council compliance. The properties have now been sold and Ivy Hill Gallery has ‘gone west’.
Simon Bragg, previously Chair of The Arts Centre Cootamundra (TACC), and Carolyn Killen decided this to be the perfect name for a two week exhibition at TACC featuring paintings, ceramics and sculpture by a selection of eighteen Ivy Hill Artists.
All artwork will be for sale after the exhibition opens. Click here to view the catalogue.
