Attention all drama enthusiasts. You are invited to join our TST Drama group, a group for community members interested in live performance and backstage support activities. Adults and high school students welcome.
As a group we can decide what these sessions will involve such as;
Theatre games for skills based stagecraft / acting
Play readings
Monologue / poetry reading and performance
Creative writing for performance
Mime
Musical Theatre vocals
and more …
We hope these monthly gatherings will create friendships and support the love of live theatre in our community. When we are ready to take our fun to the next level, TACC will look at running workshops with professional performers who will inspire us with new techniques and cues to assist in taking on live performance projects. We also hope to work towards a live stage production in the TST.
What is TST? It is our flagship venue space the Tin Shed Theatre – and it is ready and waiting to host regular productions.
The group will gather from 7pm to 9pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month in the TACC Rehearsal Space (adjacent to the car park). The cost will be $5 per person per session to cover venue hire. BYO wine or drink of your choice. No need to register, simply turn up.
