Mudlarks

Mudlarks is a fun and relaxed Friendship Group which is all about creativity with clay. This group is led by Lyn who can provide mentoring and direction as needed. You can do your own project or follow the class of the day.

Mudlarks is held on Thursdays 10am till 1pm.  Cost is $5 per person. Everyone is welcome.

Participants need to buy a bag of clay (supplied by Lyn) which cost $22.  This clay lasts quite a while. 

Lyn fires all of the masterpieces at her home, so members put in $20 each when Lyn has to buy gas. 

All tools are supplied, but students tend to build up their own supply of tools over time.  We do have access to wheels for those who want to learn wheel work.

WHAT IS A FRIENDSHIP GROUP? A friendship group is a special TACC program designed to support special interest groups. Current friendship groups include spinning, pottery and poetry. If you have an idea for a special interest group at TACC please contact our Visual Arts Coordinator via Annabel@theartscentrecootamundra.org.au

COVID-19 and Social Distancing - When attending an activity at TACC, you will be asked to follow a few new rules to ensure you and other visitors stay safe. Mostly common sense and routines we have become used to over the past months. The group Facilitators will be there to ensure rules are followed.

• Each room has been set up with social distancing in mind. Each participant is asked
  to observe social distancing regulations when in the room.

• You will be asked to complete the ‘sign in’ sheet on arrival, including your phone
  number.

• You will be asked to sanitize your hands on arrival and departure, and we ask that
  you try to touch as few surfaces as possible.

• Please bring your own water bottle.

• If you are wanting tea or coffee, please bring your own mug and teaspoon. Each group will be given a special box with tea and coffee making items, excluding milk.

• Please only use the internal ‘Green Box’ toilet. The external toilet block is still
  closed.
