We at TACC are very excited to be hosting FLING Physical Theatre for another workshop this December. FLING are facilitating a fantastic project for young people to explore and express their creativity while developing skills in creative thinking, problem solving and teamwork.
The whole project will involve a variety of workshops and online discussions which will build into an original performance in early 2023.
An initial 2-day workshop was held in the September school holidays and this next workshop will follow on from the work started there. It doesn’t matter if you missed the first workshop. New participants are more than welcome and encouraged to join in for the December workshop.
Important dates
** Performance Creation Week: Monday 23rd January to Friday 27th January 2023.
** Performances: Saturday 28th January at 2pm and 6pm
The workshop, and the entire project, will be facilitated by Gabrielle Rose, Co-Artistic Director of FLING Physical Theatre based in the Bega Valley.
About FLING: “At FLING we create space for young people to explore and express their creativity while developing skills in movement and performance, creative thinking, problem solving and teamwork. These experiences build confidence, commitment and resilience. They also support physical health, mental health and wellbeing, and can provide pathways to professional careers in the arts.” Find out more about FLING here - FLING PHYSICAL THEATRE - HOME
